Annex A

to the message of the Sultanate of Feniz, Foreign Department,
dated 5 April 301,
subject: The legal claim of the Sultanate of Feniz for a portion of the Champoise, now occupied by Phenixia

1.1. The region in question:

1.2. The same region more closely, on the map recognized by all nations:

1.3. The same region, even more closely:

1.4. The same region, even more closely, with the Fenizic-Phenixian border highlighted:

2.1. The territory claimed by Phenixia according to its own map:

2.2. The Fenizic-Phenixian border highlighted on the map of Phenixia:

3.1. The territory formerly claimed by Hochlandia according to its own map:

3.2. The Fenizic-Phenixian border highlighted on the map of former Hochlandia:

This version has been rejected as polemic by the Sultan and will not be used as basis for any claims. Note, however, the position of the Hochlandian capital Kyjovo which can be identified as the now Girolle, cf. the map at paragraph 4.2.

4.1. So the Phenixian map itself, in conjunction with the recognized map of Vexillium, forms the basis of the Fenizic claim. The difference between thenorth-eastern borders on both maps will not be taken into account but looked upon as an error in the base mapping which is only at a relatively small scale.

4.2. This map of Phenixia details the claim of the Sultanate of Feniz. The area clearly visible on the map at paragraph 4.1 is the same as highlighted here by red and white hatching, comprising the greater part of the actual province of Champoise and the old Hochlandian capital Kyjovo, now Girolle.
