Following the example of Cruisana, it is part of the doctrine that the Armed Forces of Feniz will not operate in foreign territorial waters without either the consent of the foreign nation or a UNV mandate.

Troops for expeditionary missions will be instructed about the respective target country through a detailed Pocket Guide.

Forces Structure

There are plans being developed to set up a Militia (in order to satisfy the tribes that used to wear arms always and everywhere) under the control of the Emirs. They do not want to be without defence when attacked like when the Jezen troops came in and the central command did not react in time. The Emirs also want to control the constabulary, perhaps without the border component.

Chief Royal Aide-de-Camp and
Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Guards

The Royal Guards (under operational command of the Sultan) are responsible for

the personal security of the Sultan and his family,
the sea and air transport of the Sultan and his family on state visits and private journeys, and
the internationally usual ceremonial (protocol) duties for foreign state visitors, namely
- escorting their aircraft,
- firing salutes, and
- supplying honour guards, and
the military state ceremonies (like the Ceremony of the Kiss).

Furthermore, the Royal Guards operate a range of training installations,

the Officers' Academies of all components with integrated Basic Training Regiments,
the Royal Flying School for the armed forces as a whole,
the Inspector of Airshipping and the National Airshipping School with nation-wide responsibility, and
the Inspector of Music for the armed forces as a whole, with the International Military Music Academy, open for all nations.

Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Constabulary

The Royal Constabulary is tasked to conduct

border control,
inner security and territorial defence, and
airspace control and air defence.

The Royal Constabulary has been part of the Royal Army until the territorial expansion in the course of the incorporation of the former Hochlandia early in 301 required its growth and subsequent independence.

Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Army and
of the Fenizic Expeditionary Corps

The Royal Army is organized and trained for defence and counter-attack with multi-purpose, highly mobile land forces including amphibious, airborne and close-air-support troops for the national defence, or vexillium-wide under UNV mandate.

In the 303AP reorganisation aiming at "structural attack incapability" (STRAIN), the army was reduced by 2 (airborne and mountain) regimental staffs, 5 (amphibious, airborne, mountain, tank and artillery) battalions, and 50 tanks. 1 artillery battery was retained. Furthermore, the Intercontinental Intervention Command was deprived of its integral logistics forces which have been summarized under a new, independent Logistics Command.
