Feniz - Expertise on 1200 year old ingallish map

Well, I'm not certain what time would best suit the map. In actual fact, 1826 BP is about the latest that the map could be dated at without the Ingallish settling in Liliana territory (specifically, the colony of Martonium would be within the borders of Liliana Superior province at any time after that date. It wasn't really until 650 BP that Liliana lost its grip on this region, and the collapse of the entire empire was in 600 BP. The map does, however, mention the Regnum Esto, which I suppose is meant to be Estontetso, which didn't exist until the collapse of Liliana, meaning that the map couldn't be pre-Liliani conquest (Estontetso being a made-up name rather than an ethnic or geographic name).

Basically, what I'm saying is that it's hard to date the map. The easiest thing, of course, would be to say that the map was made whenever is convenient (after the collapse of Liliana) but that it shows colonies established a long time before. That is, the colony of Martonium could have been established way back in 1850 BP, but the map could have been drawn in, say, 500 BP, as a historical map rather than a map of 500 BP (thus explaining impossible names on it). That is, some Christianan cartographer decided to make a map of Ingallia, possibly based on a real old map. The other colonies were established either before or after 1850 BP, whichever is convenient. It could be that as Liliana grew, colonization in Longerath came to a halt and prompted the colonization marked out in the Old Continent.

Anyway, that's the only explanation I can think of which would explain (sort of) all the facts (including the presence of the Liliani language despite Liliana being a minor state at the time places like Martonium could have been founded).

Feel free to point out any problems in my reasoning.

The fictional map cannot be applied to Solelhada; "regnum solhdia" is anachronical... Solelhada is pretty recent, the islands were independent from one another in the distant past.

The map shows a more modern situation than it pretends. It must have been made after 600 BP because only since this year, names like Esto(ntetso), Pheni(xi)a etc. have been in use. Obviously, the map is both recalling the prehistoric Mystgallish colonization and the markably growing Chistianian overseas trade of the 17th century. It is not, therefore, a reliable historic source.
