05-10-97 : Evilia annexes Northern Phenixia.

23-10-97 : Collapse of the Kingdom of Evilia : Occupation by International Forces. Several attacks to the Human Rights reported, mass refugees fled, including to Phenixia. Northern Phenixia is luckier under the mild rule of IF

19-11-97 : Green March : Northern Phenixia has been liberated by the peaceful Green March. Peaceful demonstrators crossed the Northern border of Phenixia following rumours of mistreatment of population by IF troops. It appeared later that these rumours had been planted by Mezrité IF rebellious agents. As the demonstration developped, small groups of people hidden in the crowed provoked an exchange of fire with IF troops. These groups appeared later to have been led by dissident IF agents. The bloodshed that followed provoked intervention by the Phenixian Army which is still on the territory to maintain peace waiting for a peaceful international solution to be found.

Most of the crowd that crossed the border is still here, as the old border resulted from Evilian advance splitting a part of Phenixian people from the rest of their families. Many of the Green March crowd were in fact refugees from that time, living on the southern side of the border.

20-11-97 to 10-12-97 : Phenixia vs Mezrité war caused by Mezritéan secret service plot against their own king. After some fighting, both leaders secretly meet and agree to stop the war.

22-06-98 : Referendum in Northern Phenixia People chooses gives for an autonomous Northern Phenixia within Phenixia by 54% votes. Pure annexion choice obtain 27%. Return to IF Rule 11% Independance 6% Return to Evilia 2%.

Politically the territory is split between two political parties.

The NPPP(Northen Phenixia People's Party) (70 to 90 % on votations)

Defends the re-unification with Phenixia. They fly a flag inspired by the one of the green march with red bands added for the martyrdom of unarmed demonstrators and IF troops assassinated by Mezritéan agitators

The PIE (Parti pour l'Independance de l'Estontetso) (10 to 30% on votations)

Split into many tendencies, pro-Meritéan, pro-New Estontetso and pure independentists. Their flag is inspired by Northern Estontetso, but the red refers to New Estontetso.

Sports : Here is the team that represented Northern Phenixia in the Alliance Soccer Cup. Michel Platoche who plays and manage the team has decided to keep the same boys. They play at club level throughout Phenixia. To be eligible to play for North Phenixia, one have to be born in the sector, or to have sign his first football license in a club situated in the area. As North Phenixian rarely reach the State Cup level, they are referred by club instead of by state as for the Phenixian team. The only player from North Phenixia who ever appeared in the Phenixian State Cup is Michel Platoche who scored the winning goal for Val-Saint-André in the surprising 284AP final against Samba.
