12 Sep 45.[3] An officer transport leaves for Camp Salaspils in the Riga area. I am also part of it. Rumour has it that it is a punitive measure because of the repeated disturbances of assemblies. Salaspils is a forest camp. Rations and treatment are even worse than in the main camp. Everything is forbidden here: Associations, intercourse with the enlisted men, leaving the camp zone. Knives with blades longer than 6 cm must be broken off. And much more.
