Molotov's speech to the world: "Russia is generous and magnanimous!"[1] A fistful of lies. Soviet policy behind the iron curtain looks different. Has the world ever wondered why the Soviet Union seals itself off so hermetically from the rest of the world?
The Latvian population has no razor blades, and this one year after the end of the war.

- ↑ According to the chronological classification, this must be a speech at the Paris Conference of Foreign Ministers (first session from 25 April to 16 May 1946), the text of which I am still looking for. (On 31 July 1946 Molotov said: "a number of clauses ... were lightened"; obviously there were also conferences devoted especially to the question of prisoners of war.)
